Fire Cases

The same principles of landowner responsibility apply to these cases.  Our firm will investigate and attempt to identify the source of the fire and why it was able to injure or kill someone before he or she escaped. The landowner must comply with the appropriate building codes.  Failure to do so can result in their liability for all losses they caused.  Our firm will root out the fire source to determine if the fire was caused by a defective product or some other source.  Even if the fire source cannot be determined or was caused by a third party accidentally, the landowner may still be responsible for failing to safely install, maintain and supervise smoke detectors or implement other public safety measures.
