Client G was stopped on a desert highway behind 5 other cars due to ongoing road construction. Defendant Z failed to pay attention, did not notice the line of cars and rear-ended Client G at a high rate of speed. Defendant R was responsible for the road construction and more importantly, traffic safety. Investigation revealed that traffic safety rules were violated resulting in Defendant R’s liability. Both Defendants made significant contributions to the multi-million-dollar settlement for Client G’s closed head traumatic brain injury, back and neck injuries.
